Charles Xavier might not meet himself in ‘Days of Future Past.’

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST star James McAvoy tells Empire Magazine that Professor Charles Xavier of the 70′s and future timelines (played by Patrick Stewart) likely won’t meet in the film; at least as far as he knows. “I don’t think we get any scenes together, sadly.” he says. “I don’t think there’s any future self talking to past self.”

While it would be awesome to see the two face-to-face, the characters had no interaction in the original comic book; Xavier was dead in that future timeline. With talk of multiple timelines, it is possible that Stewart’s Xavier will be in a separate third timeline.

Director Bryan Singer has said that he’s taking X-MEN: THE LAST STAND in consideration, but “fixing” things. Maybe the events of “Future Past” will make it so Jean never destroyed Xavier’s body to begin with?

The possibilities are endless!

    • He did not. They are fixing that so it never happened. It’s clear Byran wants to erase X3 from the map, that;s why they are doing time travel.
