X-MEN actress Halle Berry sounds almost confident that she will return as Storm in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, telling Indie Wire that negotiations are taking place and that she’s “90% sure” of her joining Bryan Singer’s juggernaut film. Nothing is official until a contract is signed, but this definitely supports Singer’s quote yesterday, where he said “it depends on how it works out. I loved working with Halle, so all I can say is we’ll see what happens.”
Berry would join fellow original trilogy actors Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore, along with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS actors James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.
Storm had a somewhat prominent role in the original comic book arc, where she appeared in both timelines, more interestingly the future timeline where she battled for her life against Sentinels.
Filming begins this April in Montreal for a July 18, 2014 release.

I cannot wait for the announcement, being 90% sure is good for now. I hope she dons long hair although many want a Mohawk. I can see that on a cartoon character, but not for a movie.
If they wanted to go the mohawk route, I could definitely see Halle pulling this off. Nothing too dramatic. Long or short hair is fine with me. I’m just glad she’s 90% likely to be in the film
Okay I’m not going to lie that would be an awesome hair style. Doubt Halle would dye her hair though because I am not sure if a wig would work and still look natural when it had tht type of cut.
This is the closest I can think of what I picture in my head except longer and layered. Kind of like in the comics type of long.

Yeah, she definitely wouldn’t dye her hair. Way too damaging! I agree that a wig in that style would be tough to pull off. We haven’t seen Halle with long hair in a while, so I wouldn’t mind that either.

That’s not a bad hairstyle. I too, like QB, prefer the longer haired Storm. Mohawk Storm is all the rage right now in Marvel NOW so we’ll have to wait and see what the movie produces.
I also agree that this place needs better moderation (which isn’t your fault Anthony. There might be only so much you can do with the tools you have for the site itself). Joe just never seems to have anything worthwhile to contribute except his undying negativity towards everyone and everything.

This is gonna be the best movie ever!!! It will be my ‘avengers’. Sure avengers was great, but this, in my opinion’ will be the movie I’m most hyped about. But I just hope it’s close to 3 hours long because how in the world can they make it a normal hour and a half with this many characters. It would also be tight if they shot xmen4 back to back with this film since, from what I’ve heard, the ’70s xmen will have more screen time.
