Artwork for upcoming X-Men anime series hits the net.

Animax has revealed a new look at some of the characters in the upcoming X-Men anime which airs on the Japanese channel beginning April 1st! The 12-episode series makes it’s way to the USA on G4 later in the year.

“The X-Men are reunited following the death of teammate Jean Grey, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.”

  1. These characters look odd, but I’m excited to see this…someday. And yeah, what’s up with the lack of Jean Grey ANYTHING! I’m really bummed about that–she’s always the forgotten one, at least, that’s how it seems.
