While attending New York Comic Con to promote an upcoming film project, X-Men: The Last Stand actor Kelsey Grammer told ComicBook that’s he still interested in reprising his role as Dr. Hank McCoy aka Beast in the future film.

“Beast was a riot, I think he was underused…I believe that they should have done another Beast movie, you know with my Beast.”

Nicholas Hoult played a younger version of the character in the “X-Men Beginnings” trilogy which included First Class, Days of Future Past and, more recently, Apocalypse.

Though Grammer briefly reprised his role for a cameo in DOFP, the actor is still keen on getting back into the blue makeup and fur.

“Of course I would,” he declared, when asked.
