Michael Fassbender plans on continuing Magneto role in future X-MEN films.

Kellvin Chavez of Latino Review recently interviewed X-Men actor, Michael Fassbender and asked if he was going to appear in any future films as Magneto. Fassbender said he will and that he loves playing the character.

No word on if he’ll have any involvement with director Josh Boone’s upcoming NEW MUTANTS, though rumors suggest that James McAvoy may return as Professor Xavier to guide the young mutant team, possibly along with Alexandra Shipp’s Storm. Those are still rumors for now.

There’s also the next set of mainline X-MEN films, which may or may not focus on Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey becoming the Phoenix.

If Fassbender and McAvoy are game, then the potential for Jennifer Lawrence making a comeback as Mystique is stronger, as she said she would probably return to the role if they did as well.

Beast actor Nicholas Hoult also said he has a good time in the role and that he’d keep making them, so it looks like all the actors are willing, should they get the call from 20th Century Fox.

We’ll have to wait and see what develops!
