XMF Awards 2016: Winners announced from X-MEN: APOCALYPSE and DEADPOOL!

Welcome to the 2016 XMF Awards, celebrating the best in X-Men cinema! This year’s awards put the focus on Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE and Tim Miller’s DEADPOOL.

Winners were decided by the public during a two-week voting period. We received nearly triple the amount of votes from 2014’s award season – thank you!

X-Men clearly had the advantage over Deadpool, sweeping most of the categories, although Ryan Reynolds did take home the “Best Casting” awards for his perfect portrayal of Wade Wilson. James McAvoy and Sophie Turner beat the competition, giving the best performances. Psylocke’s perfect translation of her comic book costume edged out Deadpool’s, which was just as impressive.
