X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST director Bryan Singer teased the X-MEN: APOCALYPSE script treatment that he is working on with DOFP writer, Simon Kinberg, and X2 writers, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris. “Apocalypse” arrives on May 27, 2016. Stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are likely to return, with potential roles for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Channing Tatum’s Gambit, though the he previously mentioned that he may go solo before teaming-up with the X-Men.

Dated June 6th, we see that the treatment begins with a prologue that opens over The Nile in Egypt, streaked with… something…blood perhaps? Egypt is burning as an epic battle takes place. It is here that we’re introduced to THE FOUR HORSEMEN. They have a variety of powers and are aided by…something or someone.
