The original cast has made it pretty well known that they’d be interested in reprising their roles in future films beyond X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST<\/a>. Now we can add ‘Mystique’ actress, Rebecca Romijn<\/strong> to the mix.<\/p>\n “I’d do it absolutely,” Romijn told Headlines & Global News<\/a> about returning to the villainous role she made famous. “But they have their Mystique right now [with Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong>] and she’s unbelievable. I’m thrilled to share the role with her. She’s as cool as can be, and a great actress and an Academy Award winner.”<\/p>\n Lawrence, along with James McAvoy<\/strong> and Michael Fassbender<\/strong> have contracts that are fulfilled after completing APOCALYPSE<\/a>, but with younger versions of Jean Grey and Cyclops coming soon, there would seem to be more plans for the altered (past) timeline.<\/p>\n Can both time periods co-exist on-screen?<\/p>\n Hugh Jackman:<\/strong> “Because after seeing [DOFP], the whole thing feels fresher to me than ever.
