Tatum will star as Remy LeBeau, a kinetic-energy manipulating mutant thief from New Orleans who finds himself in conflict with a rival guild of thieves. 20th Century Fox has (as of now) two other films scheduled for that year, including Tim Miller&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/x-menfilms.com\/films\/deadpool\/\">DEADPOOL<\/a> starring Ryan Reynolds on February 12th and Bryan Singer&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/x-menfilms.com\/films\/x-men-apocalypse\/\">X-MEN: APOCALYPSE<\/a> on May 27th.<\/p>\n<p>The film&#8217;s screenplay is written by &#8220;Robocop&#8221; reboot scribe Josh Zetumer and based off a treatment by Gambit comic book creator Chris Claremont.
