It appears that James Mangold’s follow up to THE WOLVERINE<\/a> will be Hugh Jackman’s<\/strong> last. The actor took to instagram<\/a> to post a photo with the caption “Wolverine…one last time.” The image shows the star wearing one set of claws, with the three claws signifying Jackman’s third solo outing as the iconic mutant.<\/p>\n

Insiders say this marks his future exit from the X-Men film franchise.<\/p>\n

Details on the film’s plot are unknown, but Patrick Stewart previously revealed<\/a> that he will reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier.<\/p>\n

DEADPOOL<\/a>, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE<\/a> and GAMBIT<\/a> all premiere before WOLV3RINE<\/a> releases on March 3, 2017, so the potential is there for him appear before his solo finale.<\/p>\n
