The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> reveals that British actor Richard E. Grant (TV’s Jekyll & Hyde) has been cast in director James Mangold’s WOLVERINE<\/a> finale. While plot details are being kept under wraps, it’s known that Grant will play a “villainous mad-scientist type.”<\/p>\n

Production begins next month, with Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X and Boyd Holbrook appearing as the film’s lead villain. Wolverine’s successor, X-23, is also rumored to have a role in the film.<\/p>\n

When fans hear “villainous, mad scientist,” they may automatically think of Mister Sinister<\/a>. Would producers be willing to put such a major X-Men villain in a solo Wolverine film? We’ll have to wait and see!<\/p>\n
