According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, longtime X-MEN director, producer and collaborator Bryan Singer<\/strong> will helm the pilot episode of showrunner Matt Nix’s untitled mutant-based TV series for Fox.<\/p>\n

Singer is also executive producing the potential series, along with fellow film producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg. Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory will co-produce, with production being financed through Marvel and 20th Century Fox television.<\/p>\n

The action-adventure drama will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their two teenagers are mutants. On the run from a hostile government, the family find help from an underground network of mutants.<\/p>\n

Singer is no stranger to TV, having worked on House, Battle Creek, Mockingbird Lane and the upcoming Munsters reboot.<\/p>\n
