Psylocke<\/strong> actress Olivia Munn<\/strong> essentially confirmed her involvement with X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX<\/a> while promoting her role in “The Lego Ninjago Movie”. Speaking with Collider<\/a><\/strong>, she hints at the film being a two-parter:<\/p>\n “I don\u2019t know what I\u2019m supposed to say. I\u2019m supposed to be vague,” she said. “That\u2019s my answer. I\u2019m horrible at that. It\u2019s like a two parter, this movie. That\u2019s more than I\u2019ve said, in general. I don\u2019t know why people have to be so secretive.”<\/p>\n Since she said “like,” we wont jump the bandwagon and assume “Dark Phoenix” is literally being split into two parts. The follow up could always continue the story without the usual time jump we’ve seen in the last few X-Men films. Either way, it’d be great to see director\/writer Simon Kinberg’s face right now as he’s been ultra secretive about his production. Speaking of Kinberg, Munn describes how working with him and the cast is a “great experience.”<\/p>\n “I love Simon Kinberg. He\u2019s such a visionary. We\u2019re all so close. Anytime that you\u2019re working on a project where everyone hangs out and they\u2019re close, it\u2019s a breeding ground for great content and a great experience. I think Simon is gonna kill it. He\u2019s gonna do such a fantastic job with it. When I came on, he pitched me to be Psylocke, and I didn\u2019t know him until I worked on that movie, but you see how everyone is friends and they hang out. It\u2019s really cool!”<\/p>\n She says “working with Simon, as a director” makes things more fun “because everyone just steps up, a little bit more.”<\/p>\n “Dark Phoenix” flies into theaters on November 2, 2018. The inevitable sequel might already have a release date, as 20th Century Fox has Marvel film dates pre-scheduled for November 22, 2019<\/strong>, March 13, 2020, June 26, 2020, October 2, 2020 and March 5, 2021.
