The new season will kick things off with a six-month time jump, where Emma Dumont&#8217;s character <strong>Polaris<\/strong> is about to give birth. \u201cWe\u2019ve never seen in any Marvel media, and sort of show or TV, a mutant pregnancy and then a mutant delivery,\u201d said Dumont. \u201cThis is kind of a pinnacle moment. I feel very honored to be part of Marvel history in this way. It\u2019s super cool!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why the concern looks from from her fellow mutants? \u201cWe saw at the end of last season that the baby really affected her powers and made her stronger. We don\u2019t know what this labor will do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skyler Samuels<\/strong> returns as the <strong>Frost Sisters<\/strong> and <strong>Percy Hynes White<\/strong> has a new look for his character <strong>Andy Strucker<\/strong>, who forms a close bond with Polaris after choosing to leave his family behind. \u201cPolaris has actually grown really close with Andy,\u201d Dumont explained. \u201cThey see each other as the only people they can trust in this situation.Polaris definitely takes on a mentorship role with Andy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also appearing in the photo is former <em>Empire<\/em> actress <strong>Grace Byers<\/strong>, who joins the cast as <strong>Reeva Payge<\/strong>, a mutant who can produce sonic blasts that scramble minds.
