There’s so many people in it, I just feel bad for the person who had to schedule the film. There’s like 30 of the biggest actors in the world, it’s just absolutely nuts,” he said.

While the comment draws laughs, it also speaks volumes about the scale and ambition of Marvel’s latest ensemble. As they continue to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling, Doomsday appears to be leaning fully into the idea of a sprawling, multiversal event packed with legacy characters, fan favorites, and surprise returns.

But Cumming’s words highlight a very real, behind-the-scenes challenge: coordinating a production that involves an army of A-listers, each with packed calendars and global commitments. It’s a logistical juggling act that underscores just how massive Marvel’s machine has become. If the film sticks the landing, it won’t just be a triumph of storytelling, it’ll be a masterclass in movie-making coordination.

In a recent appearance on Rotten Tomatoes’ Awards Tour podcast, Alan Cumming offered a humorous…

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[579,60,15,97,90
608,528,299,378,224
post-76345","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-avengers-doomsday","category-casting","category-crew-talk","category-disney","category-x-men","tag-alan-cumming","tag-avengers-doomsday","tag-marvel-studios","tag-nightcrawler","tag-x-men
https://i0.wp.com/x-menfilms.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/IMG_7199-compressed.jpeg?fit=903%2C644&ssl=1
["GET
