Hugh Jackman confirms discussing ‘Days Of Future Past’ with Bryan Singer.

Access Hollywood recently asked Hugh Jackman about his involvement in Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The actor confirmed that discussions are taking place. Although he hasn’t officially signed the dotted line, the outlook is very good that we’ll be seeing Wolverine slicing away for the 7th time.

“There is [the] ‘X-Men: First Class’ sequel, which Bryan Singer is directing, which I think is awesome [because] it started with Bryan.” said Jackman. “I know the fans are super excited. I did a 3 hour, 3 word cameo in the last one…literally took me three hours, as long as it was to audition for [Les Misérables,] and I have been talking to Bryan about doing something in this.”

Hugh also joked with MTV about Wolverine’s role in DOFP, which you can watch here.

“Yes, I’ve been talking with Bryan about it. I did a very small cameo [in ‘First Class’] and I said, ‘As long as it’s no longer than 3 hours like the last time, my commitment [laughs]. I still have not seen the script, so we’re in discussions about it. I think things are a little in-flux and this is my generalized way of saying I’m not gonna tell you. If there’s one person’s ire I don’t want to ignite, it’s Bryan’s or Fox.”

“Basically, I’m the only character in it.” he continues. “None of the other characters exist. I do talk about them though, throughout the film, and occasionally you’ll see a little bubble and see pictures of Michael Fassbender and other characters, but the entire thing in a one-shot singing movie. But don’t tell anyone, cause that’s really a secret.”
