En Sabah Nur, Apocalypse:

The altering of time has unleashed an unrelenting ancient force who is determined to cause an apocalypse unlike any in human history. En Sabah Nur believes the civilization is in need of one giant culling. He can be anything, he can do anything. The idea of the first mutant and the idea that he wouldn’t be called a mutant back in ancient Egypt. What would he be? God. He would be a god on Earth with followers. He doesn’t think of himself as a mutant; humans are mutants, everything’s a mutant – things that evolve. His powers are vast and not entirely known. He’s exhibited abilities of telekinesis – creating pyramids with a single thought, telepathy, superhuman strength, speed, and can manipulate molecular and energy properties, changing his own form and size. He recruits powerful mutants, willingly and unwillingly, who assist him in his mission as the four horsemen of Apocalypse.

Professor Charles Xavier:

Charles Xavier is a mutant who is burgeoning to become one of the most powerful telepaths alive. He is able to read/control minds and communicate mentally with others. His powers emerged when he was a young boy. One day he met a young homeless girl by the name of Raven, who broke into his family’s mansion one late night, posing as his mother, to steal food. Charles was astounded to find someone like him…a mutant. The two became brother and sister, with Charles “influencing” his parents to adopt Raven and partake in their lavish lifestyle. Later in life during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Charles and his friend Erik Lehnsherr form a group of young mutants to combat and avenge the death of their friend Darwin and stop nuclear war. After an attack on the mutants, Erik rages and accidentally causes Charles to lose his ability to walk, due to him swiping away a metal bullet shot by federal agent Moira MacTaggert. Wheelchair-bound, Charles continued to train mutants’ Beast, Havok, Banshee, among others, until the team eventually disbanded, with only Beast left by Charles’ side. Falling into a deep depression, Charles’ world is turned upside down when he meets a mutant named Logan, who warns him of a dark future that is the result of Mystique killing Bolivar Trask. When Charles changes this outcome, a new future is set. He reopens his school and is idealistic about his future, before getting a big wake-up call when Apocalypse awakens. (Video)

Erik Lehnsherr, Magneto:

Erik Lehnsherr stands in direct opposition to his friend Charles Xavier and his dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. A victim of bigotry himself, Erik believes that mutants can only be free if they get rid of the human race. During World War II, he was imprisoned in the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz and underwent horrifying experiments from a fellow mutant scientist named Dr. Schmidt (aka Sebastian Shaw). After escaping his wraith, Erik grew obsessed with destroying the man who shot and killed his mother. He got his chance. Erik formed the first group of mutants with Charles and eventually left after their viewpoints varied too great. Erik is now Magneto, leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, who believes in not only making the world a safer place for mutants, but making it a world run by mutants. His efforts to run his first team ran into multiple roadblocks, with strong personalities clashing. Magneto was charged with the conspiracy assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963 and has been held in a prison for years, waiting to be released from Charles, Beast, Wolverine and Quicksilver. Magneto has the uncanny ability to control magnetism and other related electromagnetic forces; he can use this power to fly and to manipulate the Sentinels of the past. With intervention from Mystique, Magneto is hindered by Charles and eventually leaves him to his own devices; something that he will eventually regret. He attempts to live a quieter life, and is successful, until he finds himself in a very vulnerable place. Erik’s searching for a higher power and finds that in Apocalypse, who persuades him to join him as one of his horsemen. (Video)

Raven Darkholme, Mystique:

Raven Darkholme began a new life when she broke into young Charles Xavier’s house to steal food. They shared a bond which lasted for years. When Raven meets Erik, she begins seeing a different view of mutant/human politics from her brother. She falls in love with Erik and chooses to join his Brotherhood over Charles’ first class. The two fight for mutant rights, side-by-side for years before splitting over divergent views. Their relationship continues to be rocky throughout the years, with Mystique once even sharing a romantic relationship with Azazel. Mystique is on a deadly mission which has her assassinating Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels; it’s up to Charles, Beast and Wolverine to stop her before she makes this history-altering assassination attempt. Her mutant ability allows her to alter her form at will, impersonating other people and creating new identities for herself. However, she cannot duplicate the superhuman powers of the mutants she morphs into. Her power drastically slows down her aging process, which allows her to maintain her youthful appearance over the years. Her natural body is covered in reptilian-like scales and her skin is blue. Trask uses Mystique’s DNA and genetic code to create the Sentinels of the future. Machines that can adapt to any situation or mutant power. Charles and team are able to intercept Raven before she makes her kill, leaving her to disappear into the unknown. Under disguise, she later rescues a confused Wolverine before a certain William Stryker is able to get a hold of him. Years later, Mystique finds herself doing the very last thing she wants; leading a group of young mutants destined to become X-Men. She usually works alone, but must join forces with Charles’ students against the threat of Apocalypse. (Video)

Hank McCoy, Beast:

Hank McCoy meets Charles Xavier and his mutant team one fateful day, thanks to the Man in Black. He had never really shown his ape-like feet to many people, so it was an exciting experience for him to be accepted by Charles and more especially, Raven Darkholme. Unfortunately that acceptance didn’t change his views that his feet and Raven’s natural blue form would never be deemed beautiful in society. Desperately seeking a cure, Hank takes a serum he created which unexpectedly transforms him into the big, blue-furred Beast. He has increased agility, speed, and superhuman strength, along with extraordinary intellect and expertise in genetics. Beast continued working with Charles after the Cuban Missile Crisis incident, learning about his new blue form, inventing new technology for the mansion, and running a school for gifted children. He created a powerful drug which dampens the effects of the mutant gene. He uses it to have control over his mutant identity, while it allow Charles to walk and silence his thoughts. Beast is glad that Raven chose a different path and hopes to reunite with her again one day. (Video)

Alex Summers, Havok:

Alex Summers and his younger brother Scott had a rough childhood, being raised by multiple adoptive families which were none to nice. They were eventually adopted by a genuine couple, whom they connected with. A recent trend of being in-and-out of jail eventually leads Alex to meeting Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, mutants, like him, who are joining together to do something uncanny. Havok has the ability to discharge waves of force and heat from his body, turning the air in his path into super-heated plasma. These waves emanate from his body in all directions unless he purposefully tries to channel them in a single direction. At times, he is not entirely able to control this ability, which sometimes makes him a danger to those around him. Because of this, Hank McCoy created a special device which helps him in this matter. Alex continued working with Professor Xavier after the Cuban Missile Crisis, until he was drafted as a special recruit in the United States Army mutant division with Toad and Ink to fight in the Vietnam War. Alex escaped with his life after Mystique showed up to save them from experimentation. After being out in the world, he returns to Xavier’s school with his younger brother Scott, who’s blinded by his powers. While joining Professor X, Mystique, Beast and Moira MacTaggert inside Cerebro, Charles is mentally attacked by an ancient being named Apocalypse. Given permission to “wreak havoc,” he uses his power to destroy Cerebro and keep En Sabah Nur from destroying the population with a thought. Meeting this villain face-to-face, he unleashes a powerful blast which misses its intended target. (Video)

Peter Maximoff, Quicksilver:

Quicksilver is thrust into Charles Xavier’s mission after time-traveler Wolverine suggests him for an escape mission to release Magneto from a prison housed under Pentagon. Utilizing his ability of super-speed, Peter uses his lightning-fast body and playful personality to stop Pentagon guards from shooting Xavier, Magneto and Wolverine. He tells Magneto that his mother once knew a guy who controlled metal, hinting at him being his son. (Video)

Jean Grey:

One of Charles Xavier’s most prized students, Jean Grey is complex, interesting and actively learning to control her powers. When she was a kid, she saw her best friend et struck by an automobile. Touching her dying friend, her emotions awakened her latent telepathic powers and she experienced her dying thoughts as if they were her own. Jean was unable to cope and began exhibiting unstable telekinetic abilities, which frightened her parents. She struggles with her powers at times and is scared of her telepathic visions. One night she experiences a terrifying nightmare showing “the end of the world,” telling Professor Xavier that she could “feel all this death.” He told her everything would be fine, but both he and Jean knew that something bad was coming their way, if not already within their midst. Jean has a special connection with Xavier and the psychic world, harnessing enormous untapped power that’s growing inside her.

Scott Summers, Cyclops:

Scott Summers is not yet the squeaky-clean leader he’s destined to be. He’s on edge and angry. Brought to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters by his older brother Alex, he’s completely blinded by his powers which manifest in the continual emission of force beams from his eyes. While closing his eyes prevents him from unleashing these rays, he can no longer open them without wrecking havoc. In an effort to help Scott, Beast designs ruby quartz glasses, which manage to keep his destructive powers in check.

Ororo Munroe, Storm:

Ororo Munroe is a troubled mutant going down the wrong path in life. She’s looking for a mother and a father and the village she lost. Living in Cairo, she feels lost and not knowing what she wants or how powerful she can be. That is until she’s approached directly by En Sabah Nur, who represents what a lot of people in Egypt look for in a God. She becomes one of his four horsemen. She’s trying to find her way. Her powers over the weather are dictated by her emotions. Annoyed, she causes storm clouds to gather; angry, she can summon winds that carry her high in the sky where she commands thunder to rumble and lightning bolts to crackle. Apocalypse is intrigued by her goddess-like ability and considers her an important piece of the puzzle that will see the accomplishments of his destructive plans.

Kurt Wagner, Nightcrawler:

Kurt Wagner is a very positive and upbeat person, despite his harrowing past. He’s had an emotional upbringing and finds himself through his deep commitment to his faith. While performing at a circus stage show in 1982 East Berlin, he’s rescued by Mystique and brought to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, where he befriends fellow mutants Scott Summers, Jean Grey and Jubilation Lee. Called Nightcrawler, he has the uncanny ability to teleport across vast distances. He’s very agile, can run up walls and is a skilled fighter; sometimes using his pointed tail in offense during a fight.

Jubilation Lee, Jubilee:

Jubilation Lee is known as the cool girl with a sick sense of fashion at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. She was born in Beverly Hills to wealthy immigrant parents and became orphaned after they were murdered by two hit-men. Sent to an orphanage, she often ran away and hid inside the shopping mall, stealing food to survive and earning money by using her powers of pyrotechnic energy plasmoids projection to entertain people with ‘magic tricks.’ One day while performing, she had a pivotal encounter with Professor Charles Xavier. She has been Xavier’s student for nearly a decade before newcomer Scott Summers entered the picture. Jubilee learns to expand upon her abilities and sneaks off the premises with Jean Grey, Scott Summers and Kurt Wagner to hang out at the mall, where she illegally rigs an arcade machine. Future unknown, Jubilee is last seen continuing her attendance at Xavier’s, seemingly not graduating to the rank of her fellow mutants.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock, Psylocke:

Strong, lethal and powerful, Psylocke works behind the Iron Curtain for the mutant-tracker Caliban. Approached by the Apocalypse and Storm, she’s transformed into one of Apocalypse’s four horsemen. A skilled fighter who frequently uses her katana and psi-blade to fight opponents, she chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate, since killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun.

Caliban:

With a pale complexion and “funky eyes,” Caliban is a member of the Morlocks – an underground community of mutants who share a distaste for humans and hide from society because of their unique identifiable traits. His father named him after the grotesque character from William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.” As a young adult, he was banished from his family home and began living in the sewers and abandoned subway tunnels. His mutant ability allows him to sense and track other mutants, which is something Apocalypse needs to form his most powerful group of four horsemen. Caliban also has the ability to channel the emotions of those around him to enhance his strength.

Wade Wilson, Deadpool (Mutated):

Former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson adopts the alter ego Deadpool after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, he hunts down the man known as Ajax and his partner Angel Dust, who nearly destroyed his life and have captured his girlfriend Vanessa Carlylse.

Piotr Rasputin, Colossus:

Despite his hulking powers, Colossus is a kind and gentle soul, always disposed to help the students of Xavier’s school and ready to put his strength at the service of whoever needs it. Colossus has an honorable nature as he constantly tries to urge Deadpool to join the X-Men and encourage him to spare Ajax. He is also extremely respectful to women, choosing not to hurt Angel Dust until he was forced to and also covered his eyes when he saw her bare breast. Colossus can convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic, steel-like substance. Once in his armored form, he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. While in this state, he possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form.

Ellie Phimister, Negasonic Teenage Warhead:

Hardcore, athletic and cool, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is a snarky young mutant trainee of the X-Men, who is mentored by the metal-bodied Colossus. She’s a disaffected teen who thinks Deadpool is a douchebag. Negasonic’s a total goth and has some wicked piercings. She’s growing into her ever-evolving mutant powers, having precognitive abilities which allow her to see future events before they happen. Like a warhead, she can physically detonate her body to explode at things, transfering the force of the explosion down to move upward or put its energy into a powerful punch.

Christine, Angel Dust:

Christine worked with Ajax as former “employees” of a now-defunct government program which subjected humans and mutants to deadly experimentation. Trying to recreate the experiments on their own, they induct Wade Wilson and put the cancer-stricken mercenary through a series of deadly tests which give him the ability to heal from otherwise major trauma. Code-named Angel Dust, Christine can elevate her adrenaline levels to give herself super-human strength. She has enhanced speed, agility and stamina, making her a challenge for Deadpool, Colossus and any other threat she takes on.

Professor Charles Xavier:

He is the man from whom the dream was born and the man who lead the others in pursuit of it. The dream is simple yet profound: that someday both man and mutant and all of humanity will live in peace together, setting aside fear and prejudice for understanding and acceptance. The son of nuclear researcher Brian Xavier and his wife Sharon, Charles Xavier’s superior telepathic abilities came to light after his father’s mysterious death. A natural genius, Charles graduated high school at the age of 16. He completed college in only two years, and went on to do his graduate work at Oxford University. Charles began helping fellow mutants, and opened Xavier’s School for the Gifted. In time, he altered and redesigned the mansion to accommodate all the mechanisms and methods that were needed to fulfill his dream. He also recruited skilled mutants to form the X-Men, assembled to fight for all of humanity under a veil of secrecy. Charles was “killed” by Jean Grey, after her mutant powers reached their full abilities. Although his body was disintegrated, he was able to eventually bring himself back to consciousness, facing a world much darker than he left it. Xavier has a radical idea using Kitty Pryde to change the fate of mutants everywhere. When Kitty tells Charles that his mind cannot survive the time-travel trip, Wolverine volunteers and convinces Charles’ younger self to change the outcome of the past to bring a new future to light. Professor X continues running the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters and learns of Wolverine’s prior history and vice-versa. (Video)

Erik Lehnsherr, Magneto:

As the only surviving member of his family after an internment at a Nazi prison camp, Erik Lehnsherr saw the kind of inhumanity ruthless, amoral human beings were capable of inflicting upon the world. These brutal events became a black mark forever burned in his memory, fueling his belief that mutants like himself can only be free if they enslave the rest of the human race before it enslaves them. Never again does he want to face the horror and degradation he and his people faced in World War II. Erik’s friend, Charles foresees a planet where mutants and humans could peacefully coexist – a viewpoint diametrically opposed to Erik, who believes mutants would merely be the next in a long line of minorities read to be exploited and persecuted for their differences. He was unwilling to stand by and watch that terrible history repeat itself. Erik formed the Brotherhood of mutants, a terrorist mutant society who acted on his every whim. When he learned of Jean Grey’s rebirth, Erik influenced her to join his efforts, causing havoc to the battle at Alcatraz. Little did Erik know that Jean would kill his “old friend” Charles Xavier. During the final battle with the X-Men, Erik is forcefully given the mutant “cure” by Wolverine and Beast. He escapes with his life just before Jean goes into full Dark Phoenix mode. Weeks after the frightful event, Erik goes to the park to play chess with Mystique. Before she arrives, he begins a game, finding himself able to slightly move the metal chess piece; the cure had a major defect! As time passes Erik begins to accept the death of his “old friend,” until Charles Xavier arrives at his doorstep asking him for a massive favor. Erik sees his future as a repeat of the days in Auschwitz, only this time with mutants being detained against their will, powers deactivated by technology and being killed by the Sentinels. Magneto dies from the effects of being stabbed with Sentinel shrapnel. His fate in the new timeline is unknown. (Video)

Ororo Munroe, Storm:

When she was only six months old, young Ororo Munroe’s mother and photojournalist father relocated from Manhattan to Cairo, Egypt. Five years after their arrival, Cairo transformed into a hotbed of conflict. A terrorist bomb exploded in their home, killing Ororo’s mother and father. Terrified, but still alive Ororo was trapped under tons of rubble, right next to her mother’s lifeless body. This traumatic experience scarred Ororo in many ways. After a fateful meeting with Professor Charles Xavier, Storm moved to Westchester, NY and joined the X-Men. Her power over the weather is dictated by her emotions. Annoyed, she causes storm clouds to gather; angry, she can summon winds that carry her high in the sky where she commands thunder to rumble and lightning bolts to crackle. After Jean Grey died, Ororo had a brief secret relationship with Logan, which ended before Jean’s reemergence from her underwater cocoon. After the defeat of Dark Phoenix at Alcatraz, Ororo and the remaining X-Men picked up the pieces after the loss of their leader and mentor. Storm became headmistress of Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters before his eventual reemergence from the “grave.” Ororo wanted to see her dark future rectified before the dawn of apocalypse. She was killed by a Sentinel while buying Kitty and Wolverine more time during his time-travel mission. In the new timeline, Storm continues her teaching at the school as co-leader of the X-Men. Bobby Drake, Iceman:

If anyone was set to take on the role as leader of the X-Men in the future, it would Bobby Drake. He has a strong sense of confidence, and that’s a quality that will help him and his teammates in the most dire of cases. Bobby has attended the Xavier’s school for a few years. At first he lied to his parents, telling them that he was going to a boarding school. What little did they know that there son was really a mutant, going to the school to learn more about his powers and the mutant world. He is romantically linked to Rogue, who willingly took the “cure” for mutatation, so that she could touch someone, skin-to-skin o_O. Bobby has the ability to emanate intense cold which manifests as ice formations, and the mental ability to shape those ice formations into whatever structure he can imagine. He has also showed increased abilities in forming ice around his body, to use as further protection from threats. After Alcatraz, Bobby becomes an instructor at Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, led by Professor Ororo Munroe. Their future becomes dark after the Sentinel threat reaches new levels of terror. Bobby finds himself trying to protect those he loves, including girlfriend Kitty Pryde, while also risking his life to bring an in-captivity Rogue to aide the X-Men in their time-changing efforts. While he dies at the mercy of the Sentinels, he is reborn in the new timeline, where he is in a relationship with Rogue. (Video)

Marie D’Ancanto, Rogue:

Marie had a normal life. She attended high school, and had one of the most popular guys as her boyfriend. But it was one fateful day that changed everything. While kissing her boyfriend for the first time, she manifested her mutant gifts of absorbing the life force of any human / mutant. Shortly after, she went rogue and enrolled in the school for the gifted, after meeting with another mutant named Logan. After only a few months, she gained the privilege of becoming a full-fledged X-Man, and dated fellow member Bobby aka Iceman. Marie was one of many mutants in the United States who willingly took the cure. She felt troubled, because her mutant power did not allow her to touch anyone skin-to-skin without harming them. Regrouping with the X-Men after the events of Alcatraz, Marie stayed at the Xavier School for the Gifted, considering her future options with the team. Her power slowly returned, as with Magneto’s and other recipients. When the Sentinel program is approved, her dark future leads her to being held captive inside a pirated Cerebro by Trask Inudstries scientists and doctors, who use her powers to make the ultimate Sentinel. Cerebro blocks Professor X from connecting with Rogue, so over time he believes her to be dead. But Iceman knows thinks differently. At his suggestion, a rescue mission is launched with Xavier, Magneto and himself taking the X-Jet to the heavily-guarded mansion. After a terrifying encounter with a squad of Sentinels, she is retrieved safely and is able to siphon Kitty Pryde’s powers, keeping Logan’s time-manipulation connection at bay. When the historical changes take hold, she is revealed to be doing well at thw school with her boyfriend, Bobby. (Video)

Clarice Ferguson, Blink:

Blink has the ability to teleport herself and others at will. She can teleport large masses, including sizable groups of people. She can also utilize these powers in a destructive manner by using her power to teleport only parts of objects. She can open portals that displace projectiles and even enemies that threaten her. Blink’s portals are typically pink and accompanied by a “Blink” sound. She has dark pink hair and lilac skin with marks across her face: these were present at birth, and are not scars or tattoos. She is a member of Bishop’s “army” of mutants and finds herself at the ends of three Sentinel spears, which kill her during the final attack. Her altered timeline fate is unknown. (Video)

Lucas Bishop:

Bishop has the mutant ability to absorb all forms of radiant or conductive energy that are directed towards him and to release that energy from his body. This power is passive, allowing Bishop to absorb energy at all times. When he releases the energy, he can release it in many different forms, usually as concussive blasts of bio-kinetic energy, even amplified compared to the absorbed amount. Bishop can also store absorbed energy within his personal reserves, where upon the energy increases his strength and recuperative abilities, as well as affording him a measure of invulnerability. He carries a futuristic gun, which is connected to his bloodstream, through which he can release his energy. His powers usually make it difficult to harm him with energy-based attacks. He is, however, vulnerable to the super-powered attacks of the Sentinels. He is killed after blowing up from absorbing too much energy from the Sentinel blasts. His fate in the altered timeline is unknown. (Video)

Roberto da Costa, Sunspot:

Sunspot is a mutant whose cells have the ability to absorb solar energy and convert it for use as physical strength. At will, he is able to take on a superhuman “powered up” form that is entirely black. Though the color black optimizes solar absorption, he absorbs solar power at all times, not only when he is in his “powered up” form – indeed, if he has not absorbed sufficient amounts of solar energy in normal form, he will be too weak to “power up”. Likewise, when not in direct sunlight, Sunspot can exhaust his superhuman strength by using up the stores of energy within his body. He is killed by a Sentinel who mimicked Lady Deathstryke’s claws while trying to by Kitty Pryde and Wolverine more time in their time-altering mission. His fate in the altered timeline is unknown. James Proudstar, Warpath:

Warpath is a mutant who possesses superhuman physical ability in virtually all areas: He possesses superhuman strength, and resistance to injury. He repairs and regenerates damaged and destroyed tissue and recuperates from exhaustion and fatigue much faster than a normal human. Warpath’s senses, particularly sight, smell and hearing, are enhanced to levels beyond the capabilities of a normal human. He is able to see with perfect clarity at much greater distances than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of visual clarity, even in near-total darkness. His hearing is similarly heightened, enabling him to both clearly hear sounds that ordinary humans can’t and sounds that they can detect but at much greater distances. Warpath is killed while fighting alongside his band of mutant fighters. A Sentinel grabs him and slowly penetrates his head into a super, continuous blast of super-heated energy. His fate in the altered timeline is unknown. (Video)

Peter Rasputin, Colossus:

A man of both enormous size and heart, Piotr ‘Peter’ Rasputin is a mutant that men fear and other mutants revere. He is the brute force of the X-Men. Born in Lake Baikal, Siberia, Peter first manifest his tremendous mutant ability in his adolescence. Professor Xavier asked him to use his mutant strength and muscle to help other mutants in need, and attend his school for the Gifted in Manchester, New York. While he enjoyed staying on his collective farm with his parents and little sister, Illyana, Peter agreed to join Xavier, and left for the United States at once. Peter’s mutant ability allows him to turn his skin and musculature into organic metal, resulting in superhuman strength. While in this state, he does not require oxygen. Young and idealistic, Peter believes he and the X-Men can make a difference and help others like him live in peace with mankind. When the Sentinel program takes a turn for the worse, he joins Iceman and Kitty on a mission which finds them aligning themselves with a group of mutant fighters led by Bishop. He experienced death at the hands of the Sentinels twice, but once the altered events take hold he finds himself teaching class beside Kitty Pryde, his possible girlfriend?(Video)

Scott Summers, Cyclops:

He lived for the dream. And he was willing to die for it. Not one thing or person could stand in the way of Scott Summers steadfast belief in the one man who made all the difference in the world to him: Professor Xavier. Scott’s mutant ability manifested in the continual emission of force beams from his eyes. Even the slightest glance without a ray-shielding device could have vaporized an unsuspecting, innocent person. While closing his eyes prevented the emission of rays, he couldn’t choose to live his life as a blind man. In an effort to see, Scott donned his ever-present ruby quartz visor and glasses, which managed to keep the destructive rays in check. The most important person in his life, aside from Professor Xavier, was his fiance Jean Grey. Unfortunately, his love for her could not save him from death, as she killed him after the “Dark Phoenix” persona took over. Cyclops is alive and well in the new timeline created by Wolverine after he was able to change the events in 1973. (Video)

Jean Grey, Phoenix:

Jean Grey came to know death (literally) at quite a young age. And that death would forever change her entire life. When she was just ten years old, Jean saw her best friend Annie Richardson get struck and killed by an automobile. Touching her dying friend, Jean’s emotions awakened her latent telepathic powers and she experienced Annie’s dying thoughts as if they were her own. Jean was unable to cope, and also began exhibiting telekinectic abilities. When her powers manifested, her parents became extremely fearful. Jean was having headaches and made all of the cars and mailboxes in her neighborhood fly into the air. Professor Xavier promised Jean’s parents that he would help her to control her mutant powers, and he did for years until that fateful day when Jean died and was later “reborn” with evolved mutant abilities. Jean’s powers increased to the point where she could kill humans and mutants alike with a simple thought. Those sometimes uncontrollable thoughts killed her fiance Scott Summers and Professor Xavier, who had put mental blocks on Jean when she was a child, blocking her additional abilities. Jean was later killed on Alcatraz by Wolverine. He is haunted by “her” in his dreams and nightmares. Kitty Pryde, Shadowcat:

For any normal teen, a headache could simple be the physical manifestation of the daily stress life. But for Kitty Pryde, a simple headache turned out to be so much more. In her suburban bedroom in Deerfield, Illinois, Kitty closed her eyes briefly to find some respite from the troubling, intense headaches she’d been suffering. Upon opening her eyes, she found herself not in her bed, but on the living room floor directly below it. This was the first time Kitty passed through a solid object. It would not be her last. Courted by Professor Xavier to join his academy for mutant, Kitty chose to attend the school for the gifted. Despite her young age, Kitty joined the X-Men team, thanks to her amazing ability to make her body fully intangible. She can ‘phase’ through any solid matter. While in her phased form, telepath’s have a hard time reaching her mind. She can not only phase herself, but any other person as well, through touch. She traded suburban comfort for battles, and experienced her first love not in the hallways of high school, but surrounded by the walls of the Danger Room. When Sentinels take a devastating turn towards the mutant community, Kitty finds herself and her friends in danger, face death’s door each and every day. Free from captivity, Kitty is called by Charles Xavier and Magneto to aide in sending Wolverine back into the past. She accepts, but will soon regret taking on such a daunting and energy-consuming task. After seeing her boyfriend Iceman dies in front of her eyes, Kitty knows that every second counts before the changes of the past take hold. In the new timeline, Kitty is a lead member at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters and teaches class with her boyfriend Colossus.(Video)

Mortimer Toynbee, Toad:

Unlike other mutants whose powers manifested in puberty, Mortimer Toynbee aka Toad was born a mutant. Abandoned by his parents and knowing nothing of his past, Mortimer was placed in an orphanage, where children continually harassed and tormented him about his freakish appearance, long tongue and pronounced leaping ability. As a young adult, Toad is drafted into the Army as a special mutant recruit. He is rescued by Mystique before Stryker and his men try to perform deadly experiments on him and the other mutants. Once he escapes, he finds working in the back of a restaurant. (Video)

Eric Gitter, Ink:

Ink has no actual powers of his own. Instead, he has access to a mutant tattoo artist who grants him various powers by tattooing “power symbols” on him, which displays the power he is able to bestow. The artist made Ink believe that his powers were his own, purposely misleading him into believing he was a mutant. The tattoo on his right palm in the shape of a bio-hazard symbol gives him the power to make people extremely ill. The lined-tattoo on his left hand gives him super strength. The phoenix tattoo over his eye gives him substantial power. The lightning bolt on his head gives him the ability of telepathy. When he is drafted into the Army during Vietnam, he escapes with his life after Mystique helps him to escape, along with mutant recruits Havok and Toad. (Video)

Mutant Soldier:

After the reveal of mutants during events of the Cuban Missile Crisis, USA government creates a new defense division which drafts known mutants into a specialized unit during the Vietnam War. William Stryker and scientists from Trask Industries are confronted by Mystique before trying to inebriate Mutant Soldier, along with Havok, Toad and Ink for deadly research. Escaping with victory, she sends the mutant recruits away on a departing plane. Mutant Soldier has the ability to paralyze and debilitate his victims using a powerful mental force. He has barbed “quills” aligning his scalp and jaw. The modified hairs are coated with thick plates of keratin embedded within his skin musculature. (Video)

James “Logan” Howlett, Wolverine:

Out of his depth in an unknown world, Logan faces a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality. His greatest enemy might just be himself. Having taken many years to tame his overwhelming impulses to kill, Wolverine knows that even the slightest lapse in control could easily allow him to slip into a berserk rage. In the late 20th century, Wolverine participated in the Weapon X program, in which scientists grafted the indestructible metal adamantium to his skeleton. Wolverine can no longer separate fact from fiction and knows little of his own true past other than it was filled with pain and loss. Logan joined the X-Men after being saved by X-Men Storm and Cyclops during a battle with Sabretooth. Unintentionally, he became an older brother/ father-type figure to Rogue, as he’s fiercely protective of her. He quickly developed feelings for Cyclops’ fiance Jean Grey and didn’t hide it from her. He told her that he loved her before ultimately killing her at Alcatraz. Logan is lost without Jean, but finds companionship with Mariko during his time in Japan. Two years later Logan finds himself being approached by Magneto and a reborn Charles Xavier. He is warned of a weapon that threatens the lives of mutants. As their future gets darker, Kitty Pryde sends Logan’s consciousness back into the body of his 1973 self. He convinces Charles, Erik and Beast to help stop Mystique from negatively affecting the future. When he wakes up in the new timeline, Logan finds himself back in the mansion with students running down a Sunny hallway. He sees that Rogue and Iceman are together, and that Kitty and Colossus are teaching a class. Beast is now alive, along with Storm, Jean, Cyclops and Xavier. Logan doesn’t know anything about this timelines prior history. He’ll require Professor X’s help with it, especially since he’s supposed to be teaching the subject at the school. (Video)

Viper:

As her name would imply, Viper is kind of snakelike. She likes to play with toxins, she’s immune to toxins, and she’s a formidable threat against The Wolverine. She views Logan like a great hunter might view hunting a lion in his quarry. There’s kind of an admiration, a desire to destroy, and a desire to consume. Viper doesn’t really have many people that she cares about, most of them she just uses for her own purpose. Like a snake, she is able to willingly shed her skin, and hair. Viper has natural snake-like eyes, which she can manipulate to look like that of a human. She also has an elongated tongue and spew deadly venom. (Video)

Yukio:

Strong and independent, Yukio is assigned by dying Yashida to find Logan and bring him to Japan. She has the ability to see how a person will die, before the event takes place. A sort of hyper-specific premonition sense. She is highly trained in martial arts, and can use weapons, like swords, to defeat her enemies. Yukio is the personal bodyguard for the Yashida family, who eventually trades loyalty towards that of The Wolverine. (Video)

Sebastian Shaw:

Sebastian Shaw has been many different people throughout his extremely long life. During WWII, he worked as a scientist for the Nazis as Dr. Schmidt, and experimented on young mutants like Erik Lensherr. In present day, he’s the leader of the Hellfire Club, an elite group of mutants hellbent on ruling the world and making their race the supreme race. Shaw is believed to have total assets in the billions and uses his money to run various factions across the globe. He possesses the ability to absorb kinetic energy and transform it into raw strength. This drastically slows down his aging process, which can be renewed with energy. Sebastian is quick to kill and never holds back. He was killed from a coin penetrating his skull by Erik during the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis. (Video)

Emma Frost, White Queen:

Born to the wealthy Winston and Hazel Frost, Emma was ruthlessly teased by her peers while she attended school as a child. When she was a teenager, her powers manifested, allowing her to read the minds of other people. She used this gift to her advantage to move herself forward in life. Her telepathic abilitiy is enormous and she is capable of transforming her body into organic diamond, which gives her enhanced strength, durability and allows her to block telepathic threats. Emma is an essential piece to Sebastian Shaw’s Hellfire Club and is held in high regard…most of the time. After Shaw’s death, she joined Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants for a brief period before once again being taken captive by the government and Trask Industries. Magneto believes her to be dead, though there’s no evidence of her death. (Video)

Angel Salvadore, Angel:

One morning, Angel Salvadore woke up and emerged from a cocoon with a pair of insect wings. For her safety, she is able to form her wings as intricate tattoos on her back. Angel possesses several superhuman abilities akin to those of a common housefly, including a freakish ability to vomit projectile acid, which Alex Summers finds “disgusting.” Angel met Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr while dancing at a strip joint. She was surprised to see others like her in the wild and quickly joined them in their effort. Unfortunately things took a dark turn, as she joined Sebastian Shaw and his Hellfire Club. After Sebastian’s death, Angel joined Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants and fought in his efforts for many years after. Angel and Azazel were killed by Project: Wideawake operatives during an ambush gone wrong. Mystique saw evidence of her death in an autopsy report. One of Angel’s wings were removed and is on display at government headquarters along with Havok’s uniform, Sebastian Shaw’s Nazi coin and the missing helmet worn by Magneto. (Video)

Azazel:

Azazel is Sebastian Shaw’s right-hand man. This powerful mutant has blood-red skin, a deadly prehensile tail, and the ability to teleport across interdimensional distances. After the death of Sebastian Shaw, Azazel joined Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, knowing to keep his friends close and his enemies even closer. He and Angel Salvadore were killed by Project: Wideawake operatives during an ambush gone wrong in the early 1970’s. Mystique saw evidence of his death via an autopsy report.(Video)

Sean Cassidy, Banshee:

After being ignored by a pretty girl at the local aquarium, Sean Cassidy (aka Banshee) is approached by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, who ask him to join their mutant team. His superhumanly powerful lungs, throat, and vocal cords can produce a sonic scream for various effects, in concert with limited, reflexive psionic powers which directed his sonic vibrations. He can hover or fly at the speed of sound, and can carry at least one passenger. His scream can overwhelm listeners with deafening noise, stun them with tight-focus low-frequency sonic blasts, plunge them into a hypnotic trance, disorient them, nauseate them, or simply render them unconscious. Banshee stayed with Charles Xavier after the Cuban Missile Crisis, until he was drafted into the Army during Vietnam and allegedly killed in combat. There is no visual evidence of his death and it’s believed that he has a daughter named Siryn, a future student of Xavier’s, who shares similar mutant abilities.(Video)

Armando Muñoz, Darwin:

Darwin has the power of “reactive evolution”. The exact nature and limits of his powers have not been fully been revealed, though it appears he perished from a deadly ball of energy from Hellfire Club leader, Sebastian Shaw. Or did he? Darwin’s body can automatically adapt to any situation or environment he is placed in, allowing him to survive possibly anything. It is possible that he converted his body into energy, waiting to remerge one day. (Video)

Janoz Quested, Riptide:

Riptide is a highly dangerous member of the Hellfire Club, who has the mutant ability to spin natural forces around his body at greatly increased speeds, creating vacous suction that draws in nearby objects and also acts as a high-powered sling for objects which he can generate. In other words, he can create tornadoes in any way he sees fit. His future whereabouts are unknown. (Video)

James “Logan” Howlett, Wolverine:

Wolverine was born as James Howlett in Alberta, Canada, in the early 1890’s to rich farm owners. He grows into manhood on a loggers colony, adopting the name “Logan.” Logan lives along the moutains with girlfriend Kayla Silverox. Following the death of Silver Fox, he is hit with amnesia and treks to Japan. Wolverine is a mutant with a number of both natural and artificial improvements to his physiology. His primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process, typically referred to as his mutant healing factor, that regenerates damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. This power facilitated the artificial improvements he was subjected to under the Weapon X program, in which his skeleton was reinforced with the virtually indestructible metal adamantium. (Video)

Victor Creed, Sabretooth:

Victor Creed grows up in poverty with his father who works for his brother James/ Logan aka Wolverine. He fights multiple wars alongside his kin, including WWII, the Civil War and Vietnam. Feeling betrayed by his brother, Victor follows Stryker’s orders to “murder” his girlfriend, Kayla Silverfox. The ties that emotionally bonded him with his brother were broken, and they eventually became mortal enemies. His primary mutant power is accelerated healing ability which allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his body and cellular structure far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. His natural mutant attributes stemmed from, at least partially, his accelerated healing factor. The unique regenerative qualities of his healing powers and “age suppression factor,” Sabretooth’s natural aging process, causes him to age at an unusually slow rate. (Video)

Kayla Silverfox:

Kayla Silverfox is a lover of Wolverine who is is “killed” by Sabretooth. She is later revealed to be alive and an ally of William Stryker. Kayla possesses a tactile mind control ability where she can control the mind of anyone she touches. She is responsible for Logan’s choice of “Wolverine” as his alias: A story she told him involved a spirit that was tricked into being parted forever from his lover the Moon, the spirit (whose name translates as “Wolverine”) subsequently forced to look at the Moon forever and never be with her again. Silver Fox suffers fatal injuries in the final assault on the Island prison facility. Before she dies she touches William Stryker, telling him to walk until his feet bleed. Logan sees her dead body shortly afterwards, but as he has amnesia from being shot in the head with an adamantium bullet, he is unable to remember her connection to him. (Video)

Wade Wilson, Weapon XI:

Wade Wilson is a highly skilled, wisecracking and greatly immoral mercenary who wields a pair of samurai swords with superhuman speed and skill sufficient to deflect fully automatic weapons fire. He is killed by Victor Creed, only to return transformed by William Stryker into Weapon XI, a powerful killer who possesses powers from other mutants, including Scott Summers’ optic blasts, John Wraith’s teleportation, Chris Bradley’s technopathy and Wolverine’s healing factor. Similar to Wolverine, Wade was outfitted with an adamantium skeleton and a pair of extendable blades, which resembled his prized swords. Weapon XI is referred to as “Deadpool” because of the compatible powers that were “pooled” together. Wolverine and Victor Creed fight Deadpool and defeat him by decapitating him, sending him falling into a nuclear power plant cooling tower. Reaching for his head, Deadpool is revealed to still be alive. (Video)

Remy LeBeau, Gambit:

New Orleans born mutant Remy LeBeau was captured by William Stryker as a young boy. Years later he is confronted by Wolverine, who requests his services in finding his mutant prison. Remy aka “Gambit,” as the prison guards used to call him, aligns with Wolverine in helping the mutant prisoners escape. Gambit has the power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy thus “charging” that item with explosive results. He prefers to charge smaller objects, such as his ever-present playing cards, as the time required to charge them is greatly reduced and they are much easier for him to throw. The only real limitation to this ability is the time required to charge the object: the larger it is the more time it takes to charge. Most charging takes place through direct skin contact. The power of his explosions is dependent on the mass of the object he is charging. (Video)

Fred J. Dukes, The Blob:

Born in Lubbock, Texas, Fred J. Dukes aka the Blob grew up in a troubled environment. He developed a tough skin at an early age, leading him to eventually join Stryker’s covert mutant team. The Blob’s mutant physiology grants him a number of advantages. He has superhuman strength, endurance, and great resistance to physical injury due to a further mutation. His blubbery skin proves to be difficult to penetrate by gunfire, missiles, and even Wolverine’s claws; though with sufficient force and a favorable angle, the claws can lacerate his flesh. (Video)

Agent Zero is an expert in guns and various other weaponry. He never misses his target and is skilled more than any other in the world. He has the ability to jump across wide distances and increase agility. He is an essential piece to William Stryker’s covert mutant team and is on occasion his right-hand man. John Wraith was a member of Stryker’s mutant team consisting of Wolverine, Sabretooth, Agent Zero, Blob, Wade Wilson and Bradley. He is a powerful teleporter, capable of getting himself out of sticky situations after his job was finished. He moved to New Orleans, before being viciously murdered by having his spine ripped out by Victor Creed. John was closest friends with Logan. (Video)

Chris Bradley:

At the manifestation of his mutant power, Chris Bradley began suffering from increasingly painful headaches. The headaches resulted from his electrical mutant powers, which manifested and grew out of control in the middle of a class at school, leaving him unconscious. Bradley can control electricity with his mind, short-circuiting electronic devices. He joins William Stryker’s covert mutant team and later quits, leading to a deadly confrontation with Victor Creed. Scott Summers, Cyclops:

Scott Summers was captured by Victor Creed while in high school detention. He spent days at Stryker’s mutant prison base, along with Emma and other young mutants. His power, along with theirs, was used to create Stryker’s deadly Weapon XI aka “Deadpool”. After attacking guards and threats, Scott gets a friendly telepathic guide to safety from Charles Xavier. Scott escapes the compound along with Emma and other young mutants. Scott has the power to emit beams of energy from his eyes described as an “optic blast.” The beams deliver a massive amount of concussive force. They are tremendously powerful and can be used to rupture steel plates and pulverize rock. (Video)

Emma Silverfox:

The younger sister of Kayla Silverfox, Emma is capable of transforming her body into organic diamond with enhanced strength and durability. She can block any telepathic threats while in this form. She is captured by William Stryker’s troops for experimentation and finds herself imprisoned with other frightened mutants, including a young Scott Summers. When Wolverine comes along and breaks her and the others out of lockdown, she protects them by quickly turning into diamond just before being shot at multiple times by Stryker’s guards. They escape the facilities with the help of Summers, who is guided by Professor Xavier through a telepathic link. Once outside, they are greeted by Xavier and board his helicopter (piloted by Beast) to journey off into safer territories at his burgeoning school for gifted youngsters. Emma’s future remains unknown.

Pietro Maximoff, Quicksilver:

Pietro is among a group of young mutants who are held prisoner by William Stryker for experimentation in his mutant testing facility on Three Mile Island. He is subdued from using his ability to move at superhuman speeds, through advanced restraints, which prevent him from building up enough kinetic energy to escape. When Wolverine breaks him and the others out from lockdown, they escape with the help of a young Scott Summers, who is guided by Professor Xavier through a telepathic link. Once outside, they are greeted by Xavier and board his helicopter (piloted by Beast) to journey off into safer territories at his burgeoning school for gifted youngsters. Pietro’s future remains unknown.

Professor Charles Xavier:

Charles Xavier is a mutant who is the most powerful telepath alive, able to read both minds and to communicate mentally with others. His mental powers began emerging when he was a boy, and he decided to dedicate himself to protecting mutants and humans from harming one another. Charles conceived the idea of a school for teaching young mutants how to master their superhuman abilities. He is the founder and leader of the mysterious group of mutant fighters who will become known as the X-Men. His dream is that someday mutants and the rest of humanity will live together in peace. Using Cerebro, Charles locates a group of young mutants which include Scott Summers and Emma. They successfully escape Stryker’s mutant prison, future unknown.

Henry McCoy, Beast:

Hank McCoy was one of Professor Xavier’s first students. His parents had rejected him because of his mutant uniqueness. After spending some time learning under Xavier, he decided he wanted to further his education, and went on to receive his doctorate in biophysics. He became a genetics research scientist, and later became one of few mutant voices to speak out about the mutant phenomenon when he began working within the United States government. Henry has blue skin and fur, and has superhuman strength, endurance, great agility, and speed. Even with his own acceptance ofhis appearance, Beast continues to struggle for the acceptance of others. As a man of arts and letters and the sciences, Beast is very much the Renaissance man, and while his human peers within the government know this, some of them still consider him very much a mutant. Beast focuses on the X-Men’s goal of building better relationships between man and mutant, and was recently appointed an ambassador for both human and mutants alike in the United States. In immersing himself in this campaign, Beast holds out hope that the world he and the other X-Men dreamt of will be come reality. Unfortunately that didn’t happen as Beast was killed after being dragged out of his home and beaten to death by an angry mob of humans. In the altered timeline, he is alive and well at the Xavier mansion as Professor of Science. (Video)

Raven Darkholme, Mystique:

Raven Darkholme despises homo-sapiens. When she was a younger, she was taunted and threatened by school kids for her special gifts; that of a meta-morph. “It’s people like you who made me afraid to go to school as a child.” she once said. Raven is a key member of friend Erik Lehnsherr’s Brotherhood of mutants. She agrees with his thoughts on homo sapiens. Mystique’s gifts allow her to take on the shape and form of any person she wishes. Mystique was given the mutant “cure” by a stationed guard on a motorized mutant containment facility. Magneto barely felt sympathy for her, now that she was human. She did however invert troops from finding the brotherhood’s location. Her future where-abouts are unknown. (Video)

John Allerdice, Pyro:

John (Pyro) did not have a great childhood. At the age of 12 he developed his mutant gifts, which allowed him to manipulate fire. When his gifts manifested, his parents became frightened of his mutant ability, and left him to fend for himself on the streets of New York. This caused John to exhibit wild behavior, and his discovery of true hatred towards homo-sapiens. Professor Xavier had found John and asked him to join his school for the gifted. Since it was free room and board, John decided to take the offer, even though he did not really agree with Xavier’s beliefs. He later joined with Magneto’s brotherhood of mutants. Pyro escaped with his life during the Dark Phoenix attack on Alcatraz. (Video)

Warren Worthington III, Angel:

Born into a family of privilege and power, Warren Worthington III attended a prestigious boarding school in San Fransisco. But while his preppy classmates sported boat shoes and khakis, Warren sported wings. Throughout his life, he kept them as hidden as he could, wearing a harness on his back. Warren’s wings have superhuman strength, and allow him to carry not only himself, but anything twice his weight. His bones are hollow, like any other bird. He processes food better than any human, and does not store any fat in his body. While Warren’s ability to fly terrified him, it was also exhilarating. He had to finally abandon his fear when his father (Warren Worthington II) tried to give him the mutant “cure”. Worthington II wanted nothing more than to eliminate his son’s mutant gene. Warren later attended the Xavier School for the Gifted briefly, before going back to Alcatraz to save his father from Magneto’s brotherhood of mutants. Warren stayed behind in San Fransisco, mending his relationship with his father, but he expects to return for further guidance at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters.

Jimmy, Leech:

Jimmy can dampen or “leech” the powers of any mutants in close proximity to him. His dampening ability is involuntary and uncontrollable. He is captured and tested on by Dr. Kavita Rao, who creates a mutant “cure” based on his DNA. Jimmy is rescued by Kitty Pryde during the attack on Alcatraz Island by Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants. He is currently attending Xavier’s School for Gifted Mutants, though fellow students find his power bothersome.

Cain Marko, Juggernaut:

Cain Marko (Juggernaut) had a troubling childhood. He would get into fights, and get involved with theft and other illegal acts. His parents simply couldn’t control him anymore, so they sent him off to boarding school, which eventually led him to serving in the army. After some time, Cain realized that he had gained special gifts. He gained tremendous strength, and endurance. Much greater than any normal human being. Cain was released from imprisonment from Erik Lehnsherr and joined Magneto’s Brotherhood in his continued fight for dominance against the humans; bashing a couple heads in during the process, as the muscle-man of the group. Cain has gone missing and is being searched for. He may have died on Alcatraz during Dark Phoenix’s attack, but there’s no factual evidence to prove this. (Video)

Callisto:

Little is known of Callisto, besides her powerful abilities of heightened strength, agility, reflexes, land sensory perceptions (a mutant tracker). Callisto sided with Eric Lehnsherr and his brotherhood of mutants to fight against the mutant “cure”, but had previously been leader of her own group of mutants, who were proud of their abilities and weren’t afraid to use them against those who stood in their way. Callisto was last seen electrocuted by Storm, after losing an ongoing fight. Her body was never found. (Video)

Jamie Madrox, Multiple Man:

Jamie Madrox was born to a family living near the Los Alamos research facility in New Mexico; the background radiation may have stimulated his mutation. When Jamie was born, the doctor’s slap causes him to multiply into two identical babies. Jamie’s power is the ability to create perfect duplicates, or “dupes”, of himself, and all items on his person (clothing, weaponry, et cetera) through impact when he absorbs kinetic energy (although this sometimes has happened at will) through an unknown process. Most of the time, this is caused by him snapping his fingers, stomping his foot, being struck, or collisions. Each of the duplicates has exactly the same power as Jamie himself, and has independent thought, though Madrox “Prime” is usually telepathically and empathically linked to the dupes.

Kid Omega:

Much is unknown about the mutant Kid Omega, otherwise known as Quill. He was an original member of Callisto’s rebel group and later joins forces with Magneto’s brotherhood to fight against the mutant “cure”. He has the ability to cover his entire body with deadly quills, shooting them from his body at will. He was killed, along with Psylocke and Arclight, by Jean Grey at Alcatraz.

Philippa Sontag, Arclight:

Arclight possesses the ability to generate seismic energies with her hands that cause shock waves and geo tremors. She joins Magneto’s Brotherhood of Mutants and overtakes Alcatraz, causing damage against the armed forces plastic weapons. She, along with Psylocke and Quill are eventually killed during a catastrophic attack by Jean Grey. (Video)

Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock, Psylocke:

Skilled ninja Psylocke is a member of Callisto’s group of mutant rebels. She joins Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants during the Golden Gate Bridge attack on Alcatraz island. Revealing herself through shadows, Psylocke joins Arclight and Quill in attacking Angel’s father, Warren Worthington II and Dr. Kavita Rao. She is killed, along with Arclight and Quill, during Dark Phoenix’s final attack on Alcatraz.

Evan Daniels, Spyke:

Spyke can extend or retract bone spikes that grow inside his body. He may shoot them out or bring them out to grab and hold. He also needs to drink milk to replace the calcium that he loses when using his powers. He has a limited healing factor which allows his body to quickly seal the wounds caused by projecting his spikes, with no visible scarring. Spyke was was killed from a fatal stabbing by Wolverine during a battle at Magneto’s brotherhood gathering in the woods.

William Reilly, Phat:

A mutant with the ability to stretch the fat desposits in his body, Phat can appear to be normal or morbidly obese. At first his powers manifested as simple weight gain, which he put down to the stress of his life. He is first seen attending a community meeting, listening to the heated debate on the mutant cure. He joins Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants’ attack on Alcatraz Island. Phat is killed in battle, after being frozen by Iceman, and shattered by the punch of Colossus.

Jones:

A student at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, Jones is a mutant who has the ability to power-up electronic devices with a simple thought and blink of his eyes. He is able to accomplish this using a techno-kinetic pulse from his brain. He was captured and fired upon during William Stryker’s attack on the school, saved by Wolverine and Colossus. Jones continues his studies at Xavier’s, hoping to one day become an X-Man. He does not sleep, and guards the school every night.

Kurt Wagner, Nightcrawler:

Kurt Wagner grew up in the circus, as a stage performer. The odd and talented performers made is easy for Kurt to blend in. Kurt does not know the identity of his mother, or that his father was early brotherhood member, Azazel. He was adopted into the circus, and was later captured by a government associate named William Stryker. Shortly after, he met up with the X-Men, to aid them on a mission at Alkali. Kurt decided to leave the group because he did not believe in violence and wanted to further immerse himself in his religious beliefs. Nightcrawler has increases speed, agility and the uncanny ability to teleport across vast distances. He can run up walls and use his pointed tail as a weapon. (Video)

Yuriko Oyama, Deathstrike:

Like Wolverine, Deathstrike’s past is a mystery to her. All she knows is that she is William Stryker’s loyal personal assistant and that she must follow any of his orders. She is feral, furious, and has a powerful healing factor. Instead of Wolverine’s claws, she has ten adamantiuum-laced, telescoping talons that release from her fingertips. At Alkali, under the control of Stryker, she fights Wolverine, who kills her by injecting hot, bubbling adamantiuum into her body. *THUD* (Video)

Jason Stryker, Mutant 143:

Jason Stryker was one of Professor Xavier’s first students. Jason’s father, William, sent his son to Xavier to control and “cure” him. When Jason returned home, in an act of rebellion, he used his powers of telepathic hallucinations against his parents, driving his mother to kill herself by drilling a hole into her skull. Years later, after being put on ice and undergoing numerous tests by his father’s medical team, Jason, now called Mutant 143, had his spinal fluid extracted to control the minds of Nightcrawler, Deathstrike and Cyclops. Mutant 143 uses his ability to control Xavier in attacking mutants, then humans , when using Dark Cerebro. He is believed to have died at the Weapon X facility in Alkali.

Jubilation Lee, Jubilee:

After the death of her parents, Jubilation Lee was sent to an orphanage. She ran away and hid in the Hollywood Mall, stealing food to survive. She first discovered her mutant power to generate blinding and explosive energy “fireworks” while running away from mall security. This display of power completely disoriented the men and allowed her to escape. Upon learning more about her gifts, she realized she could earn money by using her powers to entertain customers in the mall; this led to a destined meeting with Professor Charles Xavier. While attending Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, Jubilee and a small group of mutants were captured during William Stryker’s attack on the mansion. They were taken to the Weapon X facilities in Alkali for experimentation and later released from captivity by Storm and Nightcrawler. Jubilee continued as a student at Xavier’s, waiting for her moment to become a full-fledged X-Man. (Video)

Theresa Cassidy, Siryn:

Siryn is a student at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. When William Stryker’s troops invaded the mansion, she, like her father Banshee, used her mutant ability to produce a powerful sonic scream from her vocal cords. Her scream can overwhelm listeners with deafening noise and disorient them to the point of rendering them unconscious. Though not displayed, it is believed that she can hover or fly at the speed of sound when directing these forces against various surfaces. Siryn continued her training at the school under headmistress Professor Ororo Munroe after dealing with Professor Xavier’s death and the after-effects of the Alcatraz attack.

Arthur Maddicks, Artie:

A student as Xavier’s School for Gigted Youngster, Artie possesses the ability to project telepathic holograms of his thoughts, for instance, appearing to have a lizard-like tongue. Usually he uses his power to communicate, because he is mute. However, he can make large-scale holograms as a means of defense. Artie can also tap into and project images of the thoughts of other people, at times on the scale of a city’s population. He can also use this limited form of telepathy to “mind-lock” people.

Victor Creed, Sabretooth:

Unlike ferocious animals that kill to live, Sabretooth lives to kill. It is a way of life for which he offers no excuses and makes no apologies. In many ways, Sabretooth resembles his archenemy Wolverine: Both are feral, furious fighters, both have accelerated healing factors and both have pasts they barely remember. But there is on distinct, profound difference that sets these two mutants apart: Wolverine can keep the animal side of his psyche in check. Sabretooth cannot and will not. While he prefers his solitude, Sabretooth has been known to take up with dubious organizations from time to time, including Magneto’s Brotherhood of Mutants. Sabretooth found himself being hit hard by Cyclops’ optic blasts, while holding the X-Men in captivity inside the ,Statue of Liberty’s flame.. He hasn’t been seen since. (Video)

Senator Robert Kelly (Mutated):

Senator Robert Kelly is an anti-mutant politician that supports the Mutant Registration Act and wishes to ban mutant children from schools. He is kidnapped by Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, who expose him to a mutation machine. This causes his body to stretch and eventually turn into a liquid-like substance. After escaping Magneto’s imprisonment, he arrives to Xavier’s school for help. While receiving treatment, he loses control of his body and turns into a puddle of water. Storm proclaims Kelly dead to her teammates, though it’s possible he survived in his new form.

Mortimer Toynbee, Toad:

Unlike other mutants whose powers manifest during puberty, Toad was born with his physical mutations and abilities. Abandoned by his parents and knowing nothing of his past, he was placed in an orphanage, where children continually harassed and tormented him about his freakish appearance, unusual physique, long tongue, and his pronounced leaping ability. After maturing into adulthood, he is approached by Magneto and recruited into his brotherhood of mutants. Toad devotes himself to Magneto’s mission. He has superhuman strength, can leap at great lengths, and has a prehensile tongue, which can reach up to 25 feet in legnth. Current whereabouts are unknown, after being hit by Storm’s lightning bolts at the Statue of Liberty site. (Video)
