Update: Collider spoke with Ellen Page, who said she found out about her reprisal as Kitty Pryde not too long before the film went into production:
“I didn’t know for that long. I knew they were kind of doing it, but I didn’t expect it. I didn’t expect to play Kitty Pryde again, so when that came up and I met with Bryan, because I didn’t work with Bryan I worked with Brett Ratner, it was just awesome. I feel so grateful to be back… Really, truly, it’s not like something I’ve known for a year by any means. I really didn’t know that long before we went to shoot.”

“Kitty Pryde” actress, Ellen Page very briefly mentioned her work on Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, when speaking to Metro about her role in Quantic Dream’s “Beyond: Two Souls” video game.
“We’re shooting in Montreal right now,” she says. “I love getting to be Kitty Pryde. We started shooting a couple of weeks ago so it’s early days but the movie’s going to be huge.”
Not much, but this marks the first time Page has publicly spoken about the film.

She is so cute… You know not that sexy cute, just the cute cute… Loved her in LAST STAND and cannot wait to see her in DAYS.
So great to read Ellen saying she loves being Kitty. Lets hope she has a really important role on this one, the character really deserves it.

Ellen’s casting as Kitty was one of my fave things about X3 (along with Kelsey as Beast). Here’s hoping her character is fleshed out a bit more. Would be cool if she was the time-traveler along with whoever else (Wolverine, Bishop, etc). I think she would look great in the 70’s. 🙂
totally agree about Ellen being on the 70’s, it would be awesome to see her working with James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and co.
on other hand, I was really happy to have Ben Foster on X3 too, althought his role was really poor, but Im glad he is part of the franchise. Hopefully Singer gets him back again on the next movie, same as James Marsden and Taylor Kitsch. That would be EPIC

C’mon I love Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde but I want to see more of Anna Paquin as Rogue..
