Matthew Vaughn says X-Men: First Class is a different kind of comic book film.

IGN has some new scoops on X-MEN: FIRST CLASS including a chat with director Matthew Vaughn who says the film will be very different from the previous films.

“It’s not like the other X-Men movies which I think is important.” says Vaughn. “I think they need to sort of take on a new… you know, what ‘Batman Begins’ did for all those Batman movies? The site also got the chance to see a scene being filmed which includes Jason Flemyng’s red-skinned Azazel beating up guards at a government facility. Included in the scene are terrified mutants Mystique, Beast, Angel, Havok, Darwin and Banshee.
