Director James Mangold revealed to @R_0_B_89 that production on WOLV3RINE begins “early next year,” most likely around this time next year, for a March 3, 2017 theatrical release.

Before that, Hugh Jackman will film scenes as an alternate Wolverine for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, which begins production this April for a May 27, 2016 theatrical release. Jackman is not leading this film and details on the size of his role are unknown.
