Film reporter Jeff Sneider and Meet The Movie Press revealed that Bryan Singer is currently looking at actresses for the role of Psylocke in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.
The fan-favorite character debuted in Marvel Comics’ Captain Britain #8 in 1976 and joined the X-Men in New Mutants Annual #2 in 1986. Her real is name Betsy Braddock and she’s a highly-trained fighter who carries the mutant abilities of precognition, telepathy, telekinesis and the ability to wield a psychic katana and knife.
Whoever is cast in the iconic role will join the pre-existing X-Men cast, along with newcomers Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler and Lana Condor as Jubilee.

Psylocke is like my idol. Can’t wait! I hope they go for someone who can do a British accent.
