‘Blade Runner 2’ scribe to pen WOLVERINE sequel.

According to The Wrap, 20th Century Fox has signed “Blade Runner 2,” “Prometheus 2” and “Green Lantern” writer Michael Green to pen the screenplay for Wolverine’s third solo outing. “The Deep Blue Good-by” writer David James Kelly last worked on the script, based on a treatment by director James Mangold.

Believed to be Hugh Jackman’s final solo outing as Wolverine, the picture, which allegedly co-stars Professor Xavier actor Sir Patrick Stewart, will begin production next year for a March 3, 2017 theatrical release.
