The cast of DEADPOOL announced their particiaption in Saturday’s Comic Con International presentation by tweeting out a hilarious photo of “the merc” wearing a sombrero and holding a “Comic Con, por favor” sign. Ryan Reynolds started with the original photo, which was followed-up by cast members’ Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), Ed Skrein (Ajax), Gina Carano (Angel Dust), T.J. Miller (Weasel) and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) super-imposing their photo on the image. Director Tim Miller and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are also expected to attend.
Ahead of the panel, we have four new photos (via ComicBook.com) from the film via Entertainment Weekly’s bonus Comic Con issue. First and foremost we must applaud Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s costume. She’s decked out in what might be considered one of the most comic-accurate X-Men uniforms on film. Colossus will also appear alongside Negasonic, so it will be interesting to see how they tie into the film’s overall plot.
Other photos show a pre-op Wade Wilson having a chat with girlfriend Vaness Carlysle, Angel Dust holding Weasel up by the neck and Ajax looking mysterious in a hoodie.
