Bryan Singer posted an epic new photo from the set of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. “This takes me back to ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark,’ not all green screen,” says the director on using massive practical sets instead of creating them fully with CGI. This particular set is part of the ancient tomb of En Sabah Nur (Oscar Isaac), who’s known as the world’s first mutant. We got a peek of his Egyptian origins during the end credits of DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and will further explore these ancient connections when ‘Apocalypse’ comes to theaters on May 27, 2016.
Oh this will be a good film.
I think they’ll really give us something epic with “Apocalypse.”
