During the final week of filming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE in a very humid Montreal, director Bryan Singer took to his instagram to show off “just a few [of the] amazing background players” who will bring 1983 Cairo to life. He also gave a glimpse of Storm’s apartment, which is a reused set from Roland Emmerich’s Stonewall film.
Soon heading off into post-production, with editing, visual effects, musical scoring and any planned pickups/reshoots taking place, the film will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
