Horseman ‘Plague’ to cameo in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.

Alexandra Shipp’s stunt double, Rochelle Okoye apparently plays dual roles in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Besides shearing her hair off to handle the tougher physical scenes for Storm, Okoye, according to the IMDB, will also portray Plague – a mutant who becomes one of En Sabah Nur’s (Oscar Isaac) Four Horsemen. It appears we may see different sets of Horsemen, as Storm (Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Angel (Ben Hardy) will carry those roles in the 1983 setting.

Okoye had actually instagrammed a behind-the-scenes photo of herself removing various body art tattoos and Egyptian-style eye makeup emblazoned on her body. The photo has since been taken down at the request of the actress and possibly 20th Century Fox.

She doesn’t look much like her comic book counterpart, who was portrayed as an old woman that was a member of the Morlocks before being transformed by Apocalypse to serve him as the Horseman of Pestilence.

Plague’s immune system makes her essentially immune to all known diseases. If exposed to a disease, she can alter it to be more lethal, and then spread it by touch.

‘Apocalypse’ comes to theaters on May 27, 2017.
