This week, 20th Century Fox will release a brief 27-second clip with IMAX showings of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ It’s something you’re definitely gonna want to check out!
Directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Ed Skrein as the villainous Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Andre Tricoteux as Colossus and T.J. Miller as Weasel.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, ‘Deadpool’ tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
