20th Century Fox has released some promotional artwork for DEADPOOL which aims to fool the uninitiated, unsuspecting Valentine’s dates into thinking it’s a romantic comedy. “True love never dies,” reads the hilarious banner with stars Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin sharing a tender moment.

Speaking of Deadpool, co-creator Rob Liefeld tweeted fans that he’d like to see John Hamm (Mad Men) portray “the merc’s” nemesis/buddy, Cable in a live-action adaption.
In the comics, the character is actually the future time-traveling son of Cyclops and Jean Grey’s clone, Madelyne Pryor (long story). He was mentioned as being a future candidate for the potential sequel. Cable was also revealed to be in the lineup for Jeff Wadlow’s long-developing X-FORCE spin-off film.

Moving on to GAMBIT, “Hollywood South” news site WGNO reports that Doug Liman’s film starring Channing Tatum will begin filming this March in New Orleans. Tatum was seen sporting his evolving “Remy LeBeau” haircut while attending this year’s Golden Globes. Many news outlets (who haven’t done their homework) are being critical of his new style, but X-Men fans know what’s up!
Last but certainly not least, the X-Men stars were out in full force at this year’s Golden Globes. Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Patrick Stewart, Channing Tatum, Nicholas Hoult, Liev Schreiber, Alan Cumming (not pictured) and writer/producer Simon Kinberg were captured looking stunning at the celebrity awards event.
I wanna be cast as an x man, what about new ghost rider?
