Deadline reports that actress Jamie Chung has been cast as Blink in Matt Nix’s
The pilot episode will be filmed soon (next month=) with X-Men film director Bryan singer. It will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children have mutant powers. Forced to run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The character was last portrayed by Fan Bingbing in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
Blink is described as having a “naturally strong exuberant personality that has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home’, Clarice is slowly becoming herself again.”
Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory are executive produce for 20th Century Fox TV and Marvel Television.
She joins actor Blair Redford, whose been cast in a undisclosed role as the “leader of an underground network of mutants.”

I’m going to miss Fan Bingbing playing Blink- she wanted to continue playing her so far as I know so I’m gutted- however I have faith in Jamie since she replaced Devon Aoki as Miho in Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill for without a problem. This news is conflicting for me but I’ll have to live with that. I wish good things to come of this for Jamie. 🙁
