Longtime X-Men director and producer Bryan Singer reflected on his work via IG, revealing behind the scenes info on DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, giving a new look at the film’s cast and on set footage of him operating the X-Jet gimbal prop.
“In our mini theater,” he wrote of the pictured cast which shows (front to back, right to left) Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Adan Canto (Sunspot), Omar Sy (Bishop), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Halle Berry (Storm), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Fan Bingbing (Blink), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Booboo Stewart (Warpath) and Daniel Cudmore (Colossus).
“I have to be honest, the idea to have Stryker’s eyes turn yellow was added to the film very close to its completion,” he revealed about a suspected last minute addition to the film. “However I ended up liking it because it showed Mystique’s path of secretly helping mutants; in that case Wolverine. It is a path that continues into X-Men: Apocalypse.”
Singer also posted a behind the scenes video of himself “operating [the] gimbal [control for] X-Jet [ion the set of] Days of Future Past.”
