Graphic designer and X-Men fan Jônathas Luz created various fan-made posters for 20th Century Studios’ THE NEW MUTANTS, basing them on iconic horror movie posters which include Evil Dead, Scream, The Thing, Army of Darkness, An American Werewolf in London, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
The artworks even gained the attention of director Josh Boone and writer Knate Lee, who shared and liked the pieces on Instagram! Check ’em out below and be sure to click the arrow buttons on each poster to compare them with the originals.

Arriving in theaters April 3rd, The New Mutants is an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants are being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as as Illyana Rasputin/Magik, Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie/Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Dani Moonstar/Mirage, Henry Zaga as Roberto “Bobby” da Costa/Sunspot and Alice Braga as Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
These are really cool. I especially like the Magick one!
Some of these should be official, imo. Maybe they’ll do like they did with Dark Phoenix and have some posters from fanart.
