…the “surprise return” of Scarlet Witch’s (Elizabeth Olsen) brother Pietro aka Quicksilver in Episode 5. It wasn’t Aaron Taylor-Johnson returning to the role he portrayed in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron though; , it was *bleeping* Evan Peters from 20th Century Fox’s beloved X-MEN film franchise onscreen!!!

“She recast Pietro???” says a shooketh Darcy (Kat Dennings) after observing the speedster arriving at “Wanda’s house” to grand applause.

Fans are now wondering what this means moving forward. Is this simply Marvel’s Pietro recast, Fox’s Peter actually yanked from his universe, or someone/ something else entirely? The scene played a little creepy as Wanda looked a pretty confused. Will Peters play a larger role as Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward? Are other ideas at play? Find out as the Disney+ series has four episodes to go (season one has 9 total) before leading into Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).
