Ryan Reynolds makes “MCU debut” to promote 20th Century Studios’ FREE GUY; Hugh Jackman reacts.

DEADPOOL star Ryan Reynolds made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in a crossover video with THOR: RAGNAROK character Korg (Taika Waititi). The two joined forces to promote and react to the latest FREE GUY trailer from 20th Century Studios (which also stars Reynolds and Waititi).

This marks the first appearance of Deadpool under Disney!

Wolverine legend Hugh Jackman reacted to the video on Reynolds’ Instagram, saying “Wow! 4:12 and no mention of me. DP your therapy is working!!!” The two have shared a public friendship and rivalry throughout the years. Despite Jackman retiring the role, fans still want to see Wolverine and Deadpool appear onscreen again after their not so special meetup in 2009’s X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.

Fans eagerly await DEADPOOL 3…or DEADPOOL: INSERT SUBTITLE HERE. While it may take a while to see that come to fruition, Wade Wilson can easily appear in other MCU films and Disney+ shows before then. DOCTOR STRANGE: MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS seems like a perfect candidate, right??
