Kevin Feige teases “more to come” with mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Promoting Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate at Comic Con Experience ’22 in Brazil, president and producer Kevin Feige kept coy when asked by Hyper Omelet about mutants appearing in the MCU’s Phase Five.

“We’ve already met a few [Professor X and Ms. Marvel], there’s one named Namor that you might’ve met recently [in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever]. So, more to come, yes!”

Is this a non answer from Feige? Yes and no. While not offering any details, he doesn’t deny that other mutants will appear in this current phase. A stretch? Maybe, maybe not. Since Deadpool and Wolverine are set to kick off Phase Six (for now), what other characters might we meet?

Phase Five consists of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (February 17, 2023), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May 5, 2023), The Marvels (July 28, 2023), Captain America: New World Order (May 3, 2024) – which includes actress Shira Haas as the Israeli mutant (?) Sabra, Thunderbolts (July 26, 2024), and Blade (September 6, 2024).
