
Director David Leitch’s DEADPOOL 2 released in theaters five years ago on May 18, 2018. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, and Zazie Beetz, the 20th Century production grossed $734 million worldwide at the box office ($318 million domestic) from a $110 million budget.
In the film, wisecracking mercenary Deadpool meets an angry teenage mutant orphan who becomes the target of Cable — a genetically enhanced soldier from the future. Deadpool realizes he’ll need help saving the boy from this new threat, and, ta-da, X-Force is born… with other powerful mutants.
