In related Hellfire news, Marvel and D23 have announced the “first-ever real-life Hellfire Gala,” which will take place July 22 at San Diego Comic Con. Based off the popular event in modern X-Men stories, “attendees will get the chance to strike a pose and enter an extraordinary event filled with fashion, fun, and forces to be reckoned with for one night only.”
Attendees are asked to bring their A-game in mutant-inspired fashion! There will be three sections for guest to journey through, including:
Mutant and human attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best super-powered style and be sure to bring your mutant fashion A-game to the green carpet (certain telepaths can be harsh critics). The event will host three different areas for guests to explore:
- The Green Lagoon features lush greenery inspired by the watering hole Krakoa. Guests will enter here and can sit and watch the fun
- Hellfire Ballroom is an epic dance floor where everyone shows off their looks.
- Lair X is where attendees can take a look back at 60 years of X-Men history, while having a drink at the bar, and dancing like Dazzler on a Friday night on another dance floor.
