the SUPER🦸 — Sony’s Into the Spider-Verse (2018) is one of my favorite films ever, so I’m beyond eXcited that SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE is now playing in movie theaters! We’re back with Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as he navigates life and learns more about the multiverse, including the vast amounts of Spider-People like himself. Hailee Steinfeld and Jake Johnson return as Gwen Stacy and Peter B. Parker, respectively, with Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099.
Budgeted at $100 million, the animated film is projected to earn around $150 million at the worldwide box office. $80-$90 million is estimated from 4,200 screens in the USA, with $60 million coming from international markets. That’s a huge % increase from the first film’s $35.3 million domestic opening five years ago.
