the SUPER🦸 — Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first trailer for KRAVEN THE HUNTER, which takes place in their (currently Spider-Man-less) live action Spider-Verse. Directed by J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), the film releases in theaters on October 6.
Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film.
Might we see Kraven actually face-off against Spidey in the future? The synopsis makes us think so, but you never know with this universe. Ultimately, it seems Sony wants to make a ‘Sinister Six’ film including A Spider-Man, although WHICH Spider-Man (or Woman) remains to be seen.
