The first in-costume photo of Ryan Reynolds in full DEADPOOL 3 gear is now online via sneaky photogs. Production is currently taking place at Pinewood Studios in Iver, England, UK with director Shawn Levy (Free Guy) at the helm. The first on-set images show Marvel Studios’ newly acquired ‘merc with a mouth’ in a forest with a car and a young passenger wearing a Deadpool mask. Is this actor Walker Scobell from the Levy/Reynolds film The Adam Project? The young star went viral last year for reciting a Deadpool 2 monologue.

With photos like these, it’s only a matter of time before we see Hugh Jackman decked out in his comic accurate Wolverine costume! Our money’s on Logan taking a ride with Wade in that car, as both Jackman and Logan director James Mangold have said 48 Hrs. and Midnight Run were always inspiration for the eventual team-up. Those films featured two leads that had to work together as total opposites, and a “road trip” was part of both.

Deadpool 3 arrives in theaters May 3, 2024.
