Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), the film is described as a thriller taking place in a post-apocalyptic future impacted by a war between humans and artificial intelligence. It stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, Danny McBride, Benedict Wong, Ralph Ineson, and Ken Watanbe.
