Thanks to MCU Facility, we have a look at a series of character posters from Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-MEN ’97 animated series. The artworks (most of them previously seen) include new poster/clothing designs featuring our beloved mutant superheroes who have been an integral part of many childhoods and beyond. Set to continue the storylines from the iconic 1990s X-MEN animated series, the new show aims to capture the essence of the original while adding modern flair.
Each character poster offers a glimpse into the familiar yet revamped appearances of our beloved mutants. The dynamic artwork by Dan Veesenmeyer showcases Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Gambit, Beast, Bishop, Jubilee, Sunspot, Morph, and Magneto. Long-time fans will undoubtedly find themselves transported back to the golden era of animated television, while newcomers have the opportunity to delve into the captivating world of the X-MEN for the first time.
X-Men ’97 was originally planned to release this Fall on Disney+ — that’s why merchandise is sprouting up — but it has been pushed back to an unspecified date; potentially in 2024.
