Shawn Levy Waiting to Shoot DEADPOOL 3 Again With His Two Amigos

As negotiations continue between the WGA and SAG-AFTRA against the Hollywood machine, DEADPOOL 3 director Shawn Levy shares a recent photo of himself with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman via IG Stories. “Three amigos waiting to shoot again…” the post reads.

The Marvel Studios production, which brings Deadpool, Wolverine and the X-Men into the MCU, completed about half of its filming at Pinewood Studios before things came to a halt. The likelihood of DP3 making its scheduled May 3, 2024 release date is a questionable one, but never doubt what a production can achieve with the right backing. Realistically, a pushback is likely if agreements with the unions can’t be made in a timely manner.

At the end of the day, it’s important that writers and actors are fairly compensated for the work they do, and that artificial intelligence isn’t used as a means to dump natural human talent.
