DEADPOOL 3 Might Still Come Out On Time, Despite Strikes

According to The Wrap, Marvel Studios is planning to give DEADPOOL 3 the preferential treatment to ensure production meets its May 3, 2023 theatrical release date. Filming was halfway completed in July before the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes took place; they began in late May. With the Writer’s Guild finalizing their deal this week, along with the Screen Actors Guild reportedly coming to an agreement soon, director Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman allegedly have just 35 days of shooting left; barring any needed reshoots. Clearly, Marvel wants to kick off the Summer with Deadpool… and the return of the X-MEN!
