As we get closer to THE MARVELS theatrical release, promo for the Nia DaCosta film is ramping up. With that, Marvel Studios is doing whatever it takes to get butts into seats worldwide, including teasing some of the big surprises in the film. The latest commercial seemingly hints at an X-Men connection, with the tag “What Comes Next” showing a lingering “X” as some X-Men-esque music plays.
Are we being trolled, or is there some concrete here?
A blink and you miss it moment at the 11 second mark shows a person walking pass Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), who has a confused look on her face. This moment comes towards the end of the film, if not the after credits. We’re not going to go into details on what rumors say this scene involves, but we’ll find out together when the film hits theaters on November 10!
The Marvels joins three powerful characters, with two making their big-screen debuts. Starring Brie Larson returning as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, with Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau aka Photon, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Kahn aka Ms. Marvel, the new mutant. The villain, Dar-Benn, is portrayed by Zawe Ashton.
