the SUPER🦸: ‘Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Teaser Trailer Drops

the SUPER🦸 — 20th Century Studios welcomes us back into the Planet of the Apes film series with a new entry from director Wes Ball: KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Taking the reigns from director Matt Reeves, Ball (The Maze Runner trilogy) breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

The film stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macros, and William H. Macy. The screenplay is by Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), Rick Jajja & Amanada Silver (Avatar: The Way of Water), and Patrick Aison (Prey), based on characters created by Jaffa & Silver. Producers are Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr., Jaffa, Silver, Jason Reed (Mulan), with Peter Chernin (Planet of the Apes) and Jenno Topping (Ford v. Ferrari) as executive producer.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes arrives in theaters on May 24, 2024.
