the SUPER🦸 — Marketing for Madame Web is picking up, as there are new TV spots which give an expanded look at Sony’s new vision of Marvel characters in the Spider-Verse. With the February 14 theatrical release date getting closer, some of the film’s key visual effects are now being teased.
The film stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra “Cassie” Webb, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin, and Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, with Tahar Rahim as Ezekial Sims.
Synopsis: “Meanwhile, in another universe…” In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures…if they can all survive a deadly present.
