Photo Of Michael Chiklis On DEADPOOL 3 Set As Fantastic Four’s Thing Is A “FAKE”

Rumors began to spread that Michael Chiklis would return as The Thing in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 when an alleged set photo “leaked,” depicting the Fantastic Four actor in a mo-cap suit standing next to Ryan Reynolds’ merc with a mouth.

“FYI folks… This is a FAKE,” he wrote in a post on X. “Sorry to disappoint. So many people have asked about it, I feel it’s necessary to clear this up. I do know who they’re casting though. Not my place to tell but I will say this. I’m a fan of his work and I wish him luck and success with it.”

Chiklis successfully portrayed Benjamin Grimm across two films between 2005-2007.

Deadpool 3 arrives in theaters on July 26, 2024.
