Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, singer and actor Janet Jackson shared that she almost portrayed Storm in the X-Men films. While discussing roles they were close to getting, Jackson said “Halle Berry played Storm. But I couldn’t, because I was just embarking on the Janet tour.”
Angela Bassett and Mariah Carey were also said to be in talks for the role before it reached Berry, who played the character across four films (so far).
