20th Century Studios has released a new official clip and featurette for director Wes Ball’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which arrives in theaters on May 10.
Set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, apes are the dominant species living harmoniously with one another and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape will undertake a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
The cast includes Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon and William H. Macy. Directed By Wes Ball, the film was written by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Patrick Aison. Producers include Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr., Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Jason Reed.
