The cast and crew of Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 are celebrating as the mutant revival gained two nominations from The Television Critics Association Awards. Categories includes Outstanding New Program, where X97 managed to be the only animated project amongst live-action properties, and Outstanding Achievement in Family Programming.
Competition for Outstanding New Program includes Baby Reindeer, Fallout, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Ripley and Shōgun, while Doctor Who, Heartstopper, My Adventures with Superman, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Renegade Nell compete for Outstanding Achievement in Family Programming.
Winners will be announced on Friday, July 12 at an event in Pasadena.
